A look at aluminum and design in consumer electronics

While everyone is hyped up over the iPhone 4, other new and improved Apple products aren’t getting enough attention such as the completely redesigned Mac mini. Its sleek redesigned aluminum unibody enclosure looks fantastic. The unibody enclosure was made so that you could remove a panel on the bottom to easily get to the RAM. Previous owners can confirm to the ridiculous things that had to be done to update the Mac mini RAM, making this an appreciated change.
This is also the first Mac that has a built in HDMI port, perfect for hooking it up to a television making it a media centric computer. Other features include a Mini DisplayPort, an SD card reader on the back, 802.11n Wi-Fi, and the NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics chip. According to Apple, the graphics chip provides twice the graphics performance as the previous mini. Topping things off for the Mac mini are the 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo chip, 2 GB RAM and a 320 GB hard drive.
You can order the new Mac mini for $699.
