It is a cool, but bright sunny day today. The images from the camera really do look the best on this kind of a day. The Mississippi River continues to recede. There is still some water in low spots below the nest, but no water flowing.
We have seen the baby eating a few times already today. It is also worth noting that the feathers on the eaglets body now are starting to fill-in and look like real feathers.

Wow, I can see the feathers are really changing. Baby looks wonderful. Every time I come on the baby is alone. I know the parents have been there because of the fish that is visible. All looking so great. Loving it. Thanks
