Even though you don't see her in the nest very often, Freedom is still hanging around pretty close to the nest. I did see her in the nest for about an hour or so yesterday morning. The real treat of the day was when I ducked out to grab a sandwich at lunch. As I was walking to my car I happened to look up and Freedom was soaring a few hundred feet up over the parking lot looping her way a little to the north. I grabbed my binoculars when I got to the car and got a really nice view. She is definitely getting very comfortable with her flying skills.
