Activity in the nest and online is really picking up for the Alcoa EagleCam. We have had nearly 25,000 hits to the camera since we upgraded to the new camera in October. The parent eagles, Liberty & Justice, are stopping by on a regular basis. Late yesterday afternoon one of them spent about a half-an-hour in the nest eating a fish. It is great to see the level of interest from some of our regular viewers. I know a few of you are capturing video and posting it on YouTube.
We hope you all keep watching. The nest is really chaining as they add more sticks and materials to it on almost a daily basis. We would expect to see the work continue until we see the eggs appear toward the end of February.
