Gosh, these babies are so grown now and it is next to impossible to tell who is who! Sometimes we try to identify them by their personalities...sometimes by looks. Either way, they are all mighty fine eaglets!

When they first hatched, they were so darn cute that we could not tear ourselves away from the monitor. Each day, they took up more space in our hearts. The day of the big storm, where Liberty stood over her babies to protect them from the rain, hail, and fierce wind all night, cemented them in our hearts forever.

Now, as we anticipate their first branching and fledging, we are excited for them and in a way sad that we may never know where they are or how they are doing. In our hearts, they will remain as the precious memories we have made with them. Every time we see a magnificent bald eagle, we will wonder; is that Spirit..or is that Hope..or is that Faith? Whichever, we will always think of them with each eagle we see..and it will always be with sheer delight of the brief time we remember spending with them.

How can we thank you, Davenport Alcoa Family, for giving us so much?!! A gift like this is PRICELESS!! Thank you.
