3:45 pm PDT 10/5/12. Happy day, I finally get to see Liberty & Justice working in the nest. The time was 3:15 pm when they arrived.I think Liberty came by with a huge branch & has been struggling with it,& is no resting.Justice left some time ago. I have a feeling she is getting ready to lay her eggs.I am glued to the computer watching the action. My dear husband of 64 years, is quite patient with me at this time. Thanks Alcoa for this treat. tHANKS SO MUCH FOR THE NEW CAMERA. iT IS GREAT!! IT'S BEEN SO NICE TO SEE LIBERTY & JUSTICE. BE GREAT TO HAVE SOUND TOO. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE T-SHIRTS. IT IS SO NICE TO SEE KIDS INVOLVED IN THE EAGLES TOO!!

Cherrycarol

7 PM Seems to be the magical time!! Both in the nest.

Colleen

What a beautiful site!!!! @7:27, one of the parents looking right into the camera!!!

Lucille Bingham

It is so great to see Liberty & Justice working together to restore their nest. Just like married couples should share the work in the home & with their children! These beautiful birds can teach some couples how to be successful as husband & wife and good parents to their offspring!
Mr. John thank you for the update today. We missed you! And thanks for letting us know T-shirts & key chains are in the near future. Can't wait to see the educational materials as well!

Lucille Bingham

Annette: WOw! God Bless you both! Married for 64 years! That is some wonderful accomplishment! Too many young people today call it quits as soon as things get a little difficult. They just don't have the dedication and commitment. They want everyday & everything to be easy. They don't seem to understand that marriage takes work and compromise and it's give & take, not just take and take each other for granted. I just poted how some couples could learn much from Liberty & Justice, but you both are certainly not one of them. You are great role models for today's married couples. My husband & I will be married 39 years this month, God & husband willing! I say that because like you, I am very lucky to have a husband who is very patient with me. But I have gotten him hooked on the Alcoa eagles, so he doesn't have to exert much patience in that area!

Carolyn

Thanks for the update concerning the sound we will just supply our own dialogue while you work on a sound solution. Exciting news about t-shirts! Liberty & Justice worked for well over 2 hours this evening. I did some recording of the activities and edited the footage to focus on the great close ups we saw. Here is the link to my video:

Vicki

So excited that the camera is back. I have not seen Liberty and Justice but will be watching every day. Thanks for all your efforts to make this available to all who love watching the eagles.

sandy

look forward to next spring, so enjoyed watching the eaglets grow up so fast. thanks for all the work it took to get the new camera on line. just like looking at the nest and remembering the activity that took place there

Kathryn Mellecker

The way the parents are working on the nest it is easy to think that eggs are coming soon. But that is not the case. This pair has everything ready and keeps tweeking the nest until the eggs do appear in February/March. So we wait, watching them get ready is a treat, isn't it?

Cherrycarol

7 am Saturday & Liberty is on the y branch.

Lucille Bingham

9:20am Saturday and it looks pretty breezy at the nest. Liberty/Justice actually looks like she/he is sitting on an egg, but I know that it is too soon for that. Great to open up the computer and see a familiar & pleasing site! Thanks Alcoa for this new season's adventure with the new camera. Anxiuosly awaiting the sound & T-shirts!

Lucille Bingham

We all thank you Carolyn for the video links you are providing. Great job!

Mindy Gibson Frey

Hi Mr. John! Great news about the t-shirts and keychains! Just a quick question, and maybe this has been addressed in the past and I missed it but here goes. Are any of the proceeds from the sale of the shirts and keychains going to be donated to any of the eagle foundations? I know so many of them work with donations or grants so was just curious about that. Love watching these two in the nest together... looks like there might some romance in the air..... :0

beamg

Well, hello to all the familiar people from the past season and to the new or unfamiliar viewers! We are all still hooked on eagles!

Carolyn, another great video. You do such a good job - thanks for that! I wanted to reach out and stroke those soft feathers of the one on the branch. I imagine they would feel soft and smooth like silk. One thing I know is that I'm going to have to learn all over again who is who in the nest.

Looking forward to next Feb and the eggs. It's going to be another exciting ride so hang on everyone.

Carolyn Groves

Caught sight of one in nest this morning..what a beauty! Thought I'd check back this afternoon, but no picture to view! Hope it is only a very temporary snafu.

Charles Kinsey

I've been trying all day to view the EagleCam but cannot make a connection....also had this problem several times during the past week. Just wondering if anyone else has a problem ?

Soreff

I can't make a connection either. I was able to make one this morning, but nobody was home.

kc

its been down all afternoon for me too, maybe they're working on the sound :)

Darlene Nichols

Was able to view eagles this am but when I just checked in now I don't get a picture...acts like a little teaser........will I or won't I see them this time?.....keeps me coming back !

Carolyn

Still no picture......Sigh.... Maybe tomorrow!
I know you are already on top of the situation, so I will wait patiently, but with eager anticipation!
Thanks Alcoa.

John

It's not fair if you are doing research about the Eagle's behavior because the camera is never given an importance to put back in service. I know how to hook up a camera and put it online, they are not sharing the data about the Eagle's or don't have much interest of doing so.

Kathy Park

When I click on the site the live feed never comes on. I was able to view it this summer. Has something changed that I cannot connect?

kc

Nah Kathy, the camera just came back on early last week I believe.. it was fun watching Liberty and Justice bringing sticks to the nest. the camera went down early yesterday...am sure they're working on it
