So sorry about the cam. It is amazing how the eaglets have grown so much just in the past two days. I do hope the weather does not get too bad. Last night the wind was really rocking the nest. And, as tired as Liberty was, she kept putting her head up to check on things.

While the camera here is down, if anyone cares to view Xcel Energy Fort St Vrain cam, the last time I saw the 3 eaglets (only about a week to 10 days old) was Monday early in the day when it was 70deg. Monday night the snow and wind moved in, and it's been below freezing since then. This morning looks very calm, sunny, but cold 10 deg. I haven't seen the young yet today, but hoping for the best. Any help watching would be appreciated, as I can't be watching as much as I want this week BIG THX to Alcoa for a wonderful look at Eagles. Honor and Glory look so well fed!

6:49 AM PDT. Good Morning : It is a little disapointing to wake up, turn on my omputer to check on our wonderful family here in Alcoa Land, and we see OFFLINE & beautiful rainbow colors.
We understand like everything else things break down, & have to be restored. Now,we haveto show our patience!! Difficult isn't it? Especially when it comes to our little family of Eagles. Am sure Mr. John, & Alcoa and maybe Bruce will have it up and running soon. In the meantime, I will now have my beakfast, read LA Times, & do all 6 puzzles.I will be back folks to check on things.

I miss my eagle family. How's the weather in Davenport today? I know it's suppose to be cold again. Did it snow last night?

I'm sorry you are experiencing trouble. My kindergarten class has really been enjoying watching these magnificent birds! We have been studying American symbols and the bald eagle in particular. So it's been a hoot being able to watch mom and dad take care of the eaglets. Thanks for providing insight for my students. Amy Carter

It's a great cam, and an awesome experience Amy. Thanks for teaching the up and comers to appreciate it, and the Eagle's story of survival.

Jo Ann...Judith posted on the last thread to you about the snow..guess you missed it. She said slight chance for Thur or Fri...didn't see any reports of snow last night.

Waiting patiently with my junior high special education class...they look so forward to see the eaglets and Justice and Liberty each and everyday and see how fast they are growing. They write in their journals and keep track of weather, growth and food. Thanks so much for all the hard work you do to keep the camera up and running for our experience!!!

Glad the nest is fine. My computer had problems the other day and couldn't get the web cam to come up and I felt like I was really missing something with them. It is like watching a part of your own family growing up, but I am such a animal person I really am into this webcam. Cant wait till they are ready to be able to fly and see them get out on their own. Will they come back to the nest after the start to fly at all?

susan carstens off line today as Alcoa says they are working on it. Yesterday some reported that it was off for a short time a couple of times, but otherwise on until today.

Thank you for the updates. I hope the little ones are okay. That must have been one heck of a storm to damage the camera. Please keep us posted. I am in Long Island, NY and thankfully we had sun today.

Is the link fixable? Sure am missing the babies.

I have noticed, since the eagles have fledged, that we have a different camera angle. Does this site have more than one active camera on line? The camera I see on the tree above the nest was not active during this venture and the one we currently are using seems from afar or from a different location. Please explain. This fall will you attempt to hook up the previous camera and sound for the next generation of eagles? Thanks for all you do for this beautiful adventure, Alcoa.

Nice post. I learn something new and challenging on sites I stumbleupon on a daily basis. It will always be interesting to read articles from other writers and practice a little something from other sites.
