We are in a stretch of colder-than-normal weather for us this early into December. The snow we had over the weekend certainly makes everything look clean and bright on a sunny day. Once you step outside though you realize the sun is not really warming things up. Hopefully we will get back to more seasonal temperatures before too long. As you all know, Liberty and Justice continue to work on the nest. I think in these very cold temps most of their focus is just on eating and conserving energy. Below are a few pictures from today around the nest site. There is at least one shot that shows one of them over a portion of the open water on the Mississippi just south of the nest.
We are still working to get to a point where we can stream both camera feeds at the same time. Hopefully that will happen in the next week or two.
