Jo Ann

I'm so happy and appreciative for the pictures. Love the t-shirt. Thank you.

Mavis

Nice to see both L and J visited the nest this morning....thank you for the pictures, Mr. John.

Why are we off line? On purpose or did something happen? Thanks

Judith Hart

Mavis, Didn't you read Mr. Johns new post?

Mavis

Yikes!! I was excited about L and J and completely missed the last sentence! Bonk to me!! Thanks, Judy.

Bobbie

Mavis & Judy, I missed the last line also. Senior brain freeze! Going to celebrate another b-day tomorrow, so I guess I can use that as an excuse. Loved the "CLOSE" up of L/J, hard for me to tell which one.

Skedaddle

Looks like L on the Y branch to me. She has the longer white neck feathers.

Mavis

I think you are right, Skedaddle..and she has more grey around the brow. They both look like they had a wild night out!!

Happy Birthday to you tomorrow, Bobbie!!!

Cherrycarol

So nice u caught them in the nest this morning. Maybe they'll get rid of that grass. I'll check out the t shirt.

Happy Birthday Bobbie!!

Bobbie

Thanks for the wishes Mavis & Carol. Going to have dinner with the kids & grandkids tomorrow night.

Skedaddle

I've always thought that nasty crabgrass could grow anywhere and now I know I was right! That's what it looks to me is growing in the nest!

Mavis

The cameras are back up! I still get the rainbow bars with the OFFLINE sign but if you click on the arrow, the video comes up. The TTV is different. Can't see the ground or the river under the tree on the right, and barely see the river at the top. The wind is blowing and the birds chirping, but no sight or sound of L/J.

Paula Kany

Thanks Mr. John for the pics and update on cameras. I think it was Justice on the Y branch because Liberty has that white tail feather and some white on her beak (nostril holes?). So great to see they are doing well and still together even in this age of so many divorces, LOL

Cristine

I am hearing chain saws this morning near the nest. Beautiful day in the Q.C. A high of 82, blue skies and a slight breeze. We are headed to Port Byron for the Tugfest that Carol mentioned in an earlier post. (The Tug of War over the Mississippi River.) Our daughter's fiancee is pulling on a team this year for the first time. It's exhausting for them. Our son has pulled the last few years and my husband used to be on a undefeated team for years, until he decided to give it up to the younger guys :) It's three minutes of unrelenting strain on all of a person's muscles. It's amazing to watch! There is even a women's team.
Have a great weekend everyone.

Cherrycarol

I've never got to go to the tug Fest because I always work on Sat/ :( It's a great day for it & the air show. I have gone to those a lot. Really neat to see.
Nice to see the cams on again. The wind has probably moved it. Pretty windy out. But nice!!
FOOTBALL ALREADY!! ??

Bea Griffore

Good Sunday morning to everyone. It's so peaceful and quiet this morning. Even the birds are only chirping quietly.

Hope you had a Happy Birthday Bobbie!

So nice to see the pics of L and/or J at the nest! And it's great both cams are working. This is the 2nd nest I've seen crab grass growing in this year and it just seems so out of place there - nasty stuff grows without a drop of water I'm pretty sure! Now I need to check out the t-shirt.

Going to my daughter's in a while and having a day off from packing is going to be so nice! 22 years ago when we moved to this house everything was so much easier; at least that's the way I remember it.

Have a wonderful rest filled day everyone.

Annie

With all the sticks and grass and organic matter it seems like an eagle nest is a compost heap in the sky. No wonder things grow in it!

Cristine

5:05 nest time: Hearing eagle chatter very close to the nest! Could it be Rudy?

Annie... You've got that right... that nest IS just like a giant compost heap!

R L ML

you mention the nest looking like a compost heap. The Decorah eagles did make the compost heaps about a mile from the nest area what they decided was Nest 3. I saw the compost area last week when I visited the area. Saw eaglet and both parents, one time all together.

Cherrycarol

I hear an eagle too!
Ruth awesome u got to go to Decorah!! I want to go sometime too. & u got to see 4. I can't believe she;s still hanging around.
Hope one goes to the nest but probably at the top of the tree.

Cristine

8:20m nest time... adult eagle on nest for a brief moment, then flew away. Look at all of the crazy bugs!

Cherrycarol

Good morning. There is grass growing in the Alcoa osprey nest too. Never seen this before. Errand day & lunch with friends. & trying to get a girl out of her apt. that isn't paying rent!! GRRR! I hate this. Just Move!!
Another nice day. Enjoy Carol

Bea Griffore

Oh what a beautiful morning! I can't believe there was a time when I could sleep the whole morning away and miss this most gorgeous time of day - birds chirping and the world waking up while sumbeams shine down.

Carol...you sure have to deal with a lot of things with your property. Good luck with that renter. The bad part is that it's much harder on the landlord than the renter to get this done. Obviously the renter doesn't care in the first place if not paying rent.

This must be the year of the crab grass with all the nests it's growing in. But the compost pile idea explains it a bit.

RLML, what a treat for you to visit the Decorah nest and area! I've been so out of the loop that I don't know how that eaglet ended up being named "4" but I'm so glad it has survived this trying year and really thrilled for you to see him in person.

Keep posting everyone. It's the only way I have of knowing what sightings I miss, like yesterday. There are some new posters whose names I'm going to try to remember but I bet I'll have to get re-aquainted later in the year. ;)

I hear robins close by the nest and it's so still that hardly a leaf is stirring. No eagle sounds right now. Have an awesome day everyone.

R L ML

Bea for you information: They don't make it a practice to name the Decorah Eagles .This year's are D18 D19 and D20. Then when FOUR was found on the road and checked out. They put on a transmitter and also banded it. The last number on the band was 4 so thus the name. I don't think they were really positive, but I think FOUR is D 19. The one they thought was D18 was also banded, but it was later electrocuted. D 20 was the one with the broken wing and is in rehab. The place where it is has the initials SOAR so it is sometimes referred to by that name.

Paula Kany

Nest appears to have had a visitor and dinner was something very furry. Is that a turtle shell in the middle? Have heard sparrows and other birds but no eagle calls.

Judith Hart

Paula, I think that's half a cottonwood leaf turned upside down. There were two, one blew away.
Cams down

Cristine

Nothing new to report from the nest. A cool breezy start to the day. A cold front went through yesterday bringing very little in the way of precipitation. Cracks are forming in the ground, so I went out and put the soaker hose on the garden just now. What a terrible garden I have this year. Worst one ever, I think. Nothing is really growing. Got it in too late and it's been too cool this summer for the tomatoes and the peppers. I don't even think I will have enough to make spaghetti sauce or salsa at this rate, and then yesterday I heard we are going to have an early frost... in September. Yikes.
Does anyone remember what month that L and J start making repairs to the nest?

Cherrycarol

Cristine they start about November. I do believe. A customer said he saw L or J at the top of the tree. Not sure if it was today. This is great weather but sure hope it doesn't mean an early frost or winter. NOOO!!

Cherrycarol

Eagle in the nest at 4"40 pm. Looks like Justice. Still there & very windy!

Judith Hart

I think it's Justice too Carol. He has that windblown look.
I wonder why the Blue Jays don't chase after L or J. I think they chased Rudy away, just drove him nuts.

Wendy

Hello all. Took some time to catch up on all the posts since my last visit. Just returned from Galveston and then San Antonio area where one son and his family live. Was hoping to see a live osprey as I heard they could be in Galveston, but was not so lucky. Watching swarms of pelicans dive for fish in the ocean was exciting, though. Also saw some kind of roadrunner shaped birds wherever food was available. When I heard there were rattlesnakes near the grassy ponds it scared me a little. Sadly the mosquitoes were atrocious in the evening so we couldn't enjoy the cooler night air after the sweltering 100 degree days. We visited museums and the Space Center in Houston too, which was an hour's drive from Galveston.

The rows of pastel houses built on stilts along the coast were a wonder to behold. It was strange to see the grassy areas where the wild cattle graze in spotty areas around the island. I wished they had more shady spots to get out of the sun. There's also a $2 toll bridge that must be torture for the person who has the job of sitting in a tiny house all day long collecting money out in the middle of nowhere. May be a lucrative job if he gets a commission!

San Antonio is beautiful and had lots of good food, but is so congested like Chicago. There was one lizard sighting in the house, but never saw a scorpion thank goodness. I was always afraid to go barefoot!

It was great to see the kids and grandkids, but such a long drive and as Dorothy said "there's no place like home".

R L ML

Watched the one on the nest for over an hour and then sent an email and came back to see one flying off and one still in the nest. Did anyone see how long the 2nd one was around?

Judith Hart

I haven't checked the Decorah nest for some time, just took a look, some strange weed growing in that nest. Saw a video of the parent still making food drops in the nest and one of Four fishing, caught one too!

Where is Rudy? Geez!

Cherrycarol

Rudy must on his own already. Or just not by the nest. It would be nice to see him one more time. Decorah said 4 will probably start going away soon on her own. & they also said the parents don't chase them away. It's instinct to go.

Wendy what a great trip. I have a step daughter in Austin. She got married last Nov. So I was there & San Antonio.I've been to Galveston also. I never knew it was an island til I got there.

Another beautiful day!! Have a good one!!

Annette Kryske

Aug.13,9:51 PDT. I am sorry I didn't get back to you all, after seeing Liberty in the nest yesterday,at about 2:35, she seemed to be waiting patiently for, either Rudy or Justice. It was quite windy in the nest. I was doing some paper work, and watching, after an hour, she was still waiting finally 1hr and 15 min. later, Justice showed up , and then exited the nest almost immediately. She followed a few minutes later. It was the first time I have seen either of them in many weeks.I would love to have another peek of Rudy.

Bea Griffore

Good afternoon everyone.

RLML - thanks for the info. Now I know where the "4"or "Four" came from. I knew they didn't name the eaglets there in Decorah; I just couldn't figure out where they got the 4/Four.

Wendy, sounds like you had fun on your trip! Snakes - scare the daylights out of me. We saw a sign at a Texas rest area that said to watch for snakes. That was on our way OUT of the rest area! I thought that was a poor time to let people know about snakes. Why not on the way in? My smarty pants husband asked if we should stop and watch for them since the sign said to do that. NO, we did not stop to do that! Crazy man!

It sure is another beautiful day in the QCA. I haven't heard or seen a sign of any of our eagle family but the train is going through. Guess my break is done. HAGDA!

Bobbie

Bea, when we are in Florida the signs say "Bear Crossing". I always wonder if the bears read the signs & that's how they know where they can cross the roads!
No one at the nest right now, just the wind blowing the leaves.

Cherrycarol

I went over behind Alcoa today & I saw what might have been Rudy. Soaring in the sky. It wasn't LorJ. So maybe it was.. I walked farther than normal & found a neat area where Duck Creek goes into the river. But I didn't have my camera.

Cherrycarol

Where's everybody at? Gloomy day today Friday but hopefully we'll some rain as we sure need it.

Wendy

Hi Carol. I'm still around, but haven't seen any activity in the nest. I read where you said L & J start preparing the nest around November. Has it ever looked this bad before? Seems like it's coming apart.

Paula Kany

Hi Carol, I'm still checking in. The nest does look bad, wonder if they will move to another or get the kids to clean it. Can't wait for activity once again but hate the thought of it being November, wonder what this winter will bring? For L & J sake hope it isn't as harsh as last year. I have two baby hawks and the Mom around here and those kids screech just like Rudy and make a mess on my deck but they are neat to watch. Not many birds around, once in awhile a brave squirrel and my ever faithful rabbits are around.

Bobbie

10:50 A.M. CST
TTV camera is offline. No one in the nest, but I do hear some chirping. Pretty breezy around the nest. Cloudy in the Q.C. area. I hope we get some rain as the ground is beginning to crack in my gardens. Hope everyone has a good week-end.

Bobbie

Just had a mama deer & three fawns in my yard! I live in town but have woods near. We have had fawns with Moms before but never three at one time. Couldn't get a photo because the were gone before I could get my camera. Darn.

Cherrycarol

Bobbie I have woods around me too. I live by Black Hawk College. I've had triplets once at my house in Davenport. My friend got a pic of triplets & mom. They r in her yard a lot. She lives by Soil Bowl. Maybe the same ones. U don't see 3 very often.

Lots of clouds but no rain yet. It just won't rain.

L & J do a good job of cleaning up the nest. Lets hope they don't move.

Bobbie

Carol, I probably know your friend or where she lives, as I've lived on 18 street for 45 years! Just mention Vogler to see if she knows me.

Linda Turgeon

Lots of bird activity at the nest today (8 am eastern std. time), but NO eagles. Large bird that flicks its' tail a lot - not sure what it is. Plus many flying across the screen - happy to see ANY activity - miss the eagles!

Cherrycarol

Good morning I don't no what that bird was either Linda. Just nice to hear them singing while I'm doing book work.

Bobbie there name is Feehan

Another muggy day & no rain. I'm going to go see the play OKLAHOMA this afternoon. It will be good. We have a lot of great talented people here.

Bobbie

Carol, I do know you friends. What a small world! Our son worked with him a couple of summers between high school & college. They are a real nice couple.

Wendy

Tuned in about 7:45 CST to see two eagles in the nest. Think it was L & J and they stayed about half an hour more surveying the nest. Funny how they kept looking at and trying to bite the weeds/grass that's been growing. Didn't see when they flew in, but it looks like some new sticks on the right in the NV. No sign or sound of Rudy, but it was nice to see the parents.

Bea Griffore

GM everyone.

Wendy, so nice you got to see L & J yesterday! Interesting that they couldn't pull that crab grass - I can hardly do that either in my flower gardens. Really need some rain to loosen up the ground to make pulling easier.

Everyone else - I love reading your posts about wildlife etc!

It's very quiet this morning. I see a large bird on the branch just below the skyline, above and a little to the right of the nest. Hmmmm, brown coloring with dark head. Not sure if it could be Rudy or not. I'll post a pic on OT. Oh, camera froze and bird was gone when cam unfroze.

HAGDA

Linda Turgeon

I saw the same large bird sitting up there - saw it fly away - flew toward the camera and didn't look like an eagle. Not sure what kind of bird it is, but it's big. Visibility wasn't that good.

Bea Griffore

Linda, I'm glad you saw the same bird! I guess it's too small to be Rudy and I'd really like to know what kind it is. If it lands in the nest and someone sees maybe we can figure it out.

We have showers and storms in the forecast for late today. We sure need a nice gentle rain; all night would be great!

bbl

Cherrycarol

GM Another muggy day & no rain. Gee why doesn't it rain?? Getting in the 90's this week. Work today. HAGD Carol. I don't even see one bird except here the blue jay scared all them away. Even the squirrel was worried.

Cristine

A cool, cloudy and breezy morning. Rain moving through to the South, but it doesn't look like it will make it this far North :( I sure wish it would, except for the fact that I made plans to have lunch with my niece today at The Captains Table on the river. I was hoping we could sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather, but it's not so beautiful right now! Taking my binoculars just in case I can see the nest.

Cherrycarol

6:30 pm Tuesday Both in the nest. Doing some nestorations.

Cristine

Eagle in the nest, sitting in the upper left corner of NV. Can't tell who it is because I can't see the head or the tail and the TTV is off line :(

Cristine

And now it's gone, and I missed it flying off.

Cristine

8:02 nest time. Both L and J back in the nest briefly. Looks like they have been digging around in the bottom of the nest today.

Cherrycarol

Good morning. Yes Cristine one brought in a branch & Liberty was digging. Must there way to air e ate the nest. Nice to see them. Lunch with my high school group at Frank's Pizza.

Cristine

Good morning all. TTV still offline this morning. I hear a robin close by. Another overcast morning with storms off to the South of the Q.C. area again.
It made me happy to see the eagles yesterday for the first time in a long time. I keep hoping that the one lone eagle I saw at 7:15 was Rudy, but there is no way of knowing. Glad to see Liberty and Justice working on the nest.
Frank's Pizza, Carol! Yum!I think that they and Harris have the best pizza in the Q.C.!
I had a nice lunch with my niece yesterday at the Captain's Table. We sat outside at one of the umbrella tables. I took my little binoculars and I was able to see the Alcoa nest on the other side of the river. No birds flying around, however. Pretty quiet.
HAGD

Cristine

Loud male voices. The sound of beep-beep-beep of a vehicle backing up... and then the TTV came back on. I just saw a tiny little Chipping Sparrow in the nest. I wonder if L and J will show up again tonight at dusk?

Bea Griffore

Good Thursday morning everyone. Just one more check before I put my computer away. Our house closing is tomorrow morning and then we will be off on our adventure for a while. I haven't even had time to catch up on reading comments but I'll do that in a few days. No action at the nest but did catch a quick comment that L & J were spotted a couple days ago. Cool!

Have a great day friends! I'll catch you in a few.

Bobbie

Bea, good luck tomorrow!

Joyce

Tears of joy and tears of leaving. Good luck Bea and we'll see you by and by.
My grandson was at our Pinecrest Lake today and spotted a bald eagle fishing about 50 ft from the boat. They had a thrill. We do have one nest up here at the lake.
Off for another grandson's wedding Sat. Love his bride.
Bye from drought ridden California. Send us some of your sprinkles.
Joyce, The Biker Babe.

Cristine

Blessings, Bea. Safe travels.

Wendy

Bea, off on a new adventure...just like Rudy. Can't wait to hear where it's taken you. We'll be here whenever you get the time to catch up.

Cristine

A very strong storm went through here this morning around 9:00 A.M. nest time. We had very high winds and it dumped close to an inch of rain here at the farm. Looks like there may be more on the way. Heating up into the 90's the next few days. The hottest the Q.C. has been all summer.

Cherrycarol

Bea have fun on your adventure. Sure sounds like it will be one!. We needed that rain. Right when I ha some customers leaving. I made sure they all had umbrellas. Had to go get some out of there cars. Really humid UCK!! But it won't last long.
Joyce have fun at the wedding. Be hard not too. Stay cool everyone!!

Cristine

Both cams off-line :(

Annette Kryske

6:02PM PDT 8/25, What a disappointment. I have been checking on Alcoa site hoping to see anyone in the nest. There was an eagle, I quickly tried to get a shot of it, but darn it, he/she few away. It didn't look like our Liberty or Justice. Much thinner. Oh well, I will keep trying. Not much to report on, have been taking videos of the Monterey Ca. Otters, and Penguins. They are quite entertaining.

Bobbie

7:22 AM Nest time Only things at the nest is a little brown bird, think its a wren, & some white feathers. Feathers don't loo like eagle feathers, more downey looking. Have a good Monday, everyone.

Cherrycarol

HOT & Miserable today. Up to 102. Ugg! But today is the last day then down to the 80's YEA!
Happy to srr the cams back on. Miss Mamies for lunch today Stay Cool!! Carol

Cherrycarol

Sure is looking black at the nest & thunder. About 95 out now. I hope L & J went north for awhile.

Wendy

Carol...It looks so bad in the background, but sunny on the nest. Had bad storm here in Chicago about 45 minutes ago with hail. See the line of storms near the nest on the radar coming from the northwest. At least things cooled down a bit.

Saw L or J digging in the nest last evening and again trying to pull at the weeds.

Bobbie

7:54 P.M. nest time Adult on nest moving some sticks & hopping to y branch. I watched for about 10 minutes but couldn't tell if L or J. When it was on the branch got a good look at the talons, no wonder they are such good hunters!!

Paula Kany

Liberty cleaning nest and appearing overwhelmed at times. She cleaned her beak on the Y branch then on her sides as if to say "yuck". She sat for quite awhile off where Rudy sat next to Y branch and just looked around. She also had a "bad hair" day Carol, back of her head was all parted and funny looking, she may need your help soon. So good to see her.

Paula Kany

Both Liberty and Justice cleaning some stuff in the nest, then they looked at each other and Justice split, Liberty looked around then flew off too.

Jan

That was certainly a treat to get to see both--in what looked like a 'bug' storm!

Linda Turgeon

Lots of little bird activity in the nest today, and that BIG BIRD is back again - still don't know what kind of bird it is. Larger than most of the other birds, but not eagle size.

Cristine

I am sorry I missed that bird, Linda. Sounds interesting. What color did you say it is?
A strong gust front going through the Q.C. area right now, bringing 30-40 MPH wind but little rain. High of "only" 85 today. May be more storms later.

Cristine

Here comes the rain!

Cherrycarol

That was a nice little storm & now it is a LOT cooler out. NICE!! Have to check in around 8. Seems that is when they come home. Sundown. Sunny & beautiful now!!

Linda Turgeon

What a treat! At 7:25 am (eastern time) tuned in to see either L or J sitting on the Y branch right in front of the camera. Fabulous view of magnificent feathers, then panned back in time to get a full view and see eventual flight away from the nest. What a GREAT way to start the day!

Cherrycarol

Justice flew in at 7:40 pm with a fish & panting really bad. It's not that hot out. Maybe he had a hard time catching a fish. Eating now.

Cristine

7:40 P.M. nest time.... Liberty or Justice in the nest eating one of those long, narrow fish we have seen before.

Cristine

8:10 Still working on that fish, as darkness sets in and the camera goes to black and white.

Bobbie

8:30 CST Eagle still on nest but too dark to tell what's going on. Its back is to the camera, so maybe its still working on dinner!

Paula Kany

L or J sitting in the nest making weird sounds, some like quacks others like clicking. Someone in distance calling too, sometimes sounds like Rudy's squeals. When the three eaglets were attacked by the owl quite awhile ago at another nest the same sounds and some like puppies whimpering, wonder if there is a threat?

Cristine

It's amazing to me that L or J is still in the nest at this hour! I was hearing those quacking/ clicking sounds too. Thought at first it was a duck or goose, but now I am thinking it sounds maybe like a crane maybe. Now it sounds like a whistle or a squeak. Oh and there, yes... it did sound like Rudy. Strange.

Cristine

9:05 nest time.... now up to the Y branch, sharpening his/her beak. Then a lot of rustling sounds and he/she flies back into the nest making a lot of noise. What is going on? Bobbie, Paula, did you see anything?

Cristine

Back onto the Y branch..

Wendy

Must be spending the night here. Still on the branch.

Bea Griffore

Hi and good morning everybody.

What a sight this morning - both L & J are here! Did they really spend the night? Amazing! Oh, the one on the branch just took off. They are going to need a lawn mower or hay baler up there pretty quick. Too bad the TTV cam is offline but it's nice to see them up close.

We have made it to our MI rental and enjoying every minute of it. Grand Haven, MI is Coast Guard City, USA. We plan to see the musical fountains tonight. Should be a treat.

Well, time for more coffee but I just want to it and watch the nest for a bit. Hard telling when L & J will be here again. It's so quiet this morning so maybe they like that too.

HAGDA and keep posting....

Cherrycarol

GM Bea I tuned in at ^:30 & only Liberty there. They seem to come at dusk & dawn.
Enjoy the play, I love them as u no. hagd Carol

Bea Griffore

Carol, here is the link to the Musical Fountains we are going to see tonight. It isn't a play so I think I misled you. Sorry about that. ;)
http://www.visitgrandhaven.com/musical-fountain-61/

It's chilly in MI this morning! What's it like in Iowa?

Bobbie

Cristine, after a while all I could see was the white in the tail & hear the noise. Maybe the eagle had a bone caught in its throat & was trying to get it out? That guess is way above my pay grade to figure out!!
Bea, glad to hear you're enjoying your travels. Only 68 right now in the Q.C.A. & overcast with a chance for rain.

Wendy

Bea, just when we were ready to play "Where in the world is Bea?" we hear from you. Michigan is so beautiful and loaded with quaint small towns. I want to do the circle tour sometime. Have fun and stay safe.

Last night was strange at the nest. L/J was there at dark and kept flying from branch to nest calling out to what sounded like Rudy. Another bird species was calling out too. After a while things calmed down and L/J settled on the branch and was there when I checked in at midnight and 3 a.m.

Paula

Christine, it got too dark for me to see much more so got off, if the TTV was online would have helped maybe. Fun to watch the two and if that was Rudy he may join in I hope. So good to have some activity lately.

Cristine

Hi Bea! So glad to hear from you. You have been missed. The Musical Fountains Show looks wonderful. Your link says that it is the largest show of it's kind with the only comparable fountain being at the Bellagio in Vegas, which I have seen. You are in for a treat!
Wendy....What is "The Circle Tour"? It sounds interesting.
That surely WAS a strange night at the nest, wasn't it? I watched and listened to L/J on the Y branch until I went to bed at 11:00. Very unusual sounds coming from the nest area. Glad you all were there too, Paula, Bobbie and Wendy!
Headed to The Lake of the Ozarks tomorrow morning for the weekend. My baby brother lives there and my sister has a condo there also. Can't wait! A fun, family weekend.
Have a great day and a great Labor Day Weekend everyone.

Cherrycarol

Pouring Rain! It was strange when J flew in panting & drooling. I've never seen that before.
Bea that will be awesome to see.
Cristine have fun. I love it down there too. Hope to see them tonight.

Wendy

Cristine, the Lake Michigan circle tour is a marked driving route around the lake using connecting highways and roads. I've only ever been on the Michigan side where there's beautiful beaches, lighthouses and scenic overlooks (mostly to the north). Google probably has a lot of info on it. Your weekend sounds like fun and if you're like my family, we end up rehashing all the funny stories from the past. Hope you have lots of fun.
