Alcoa Earthwatch Fellows Take Part in Three Expeditions

This year’s Alcoa Earthwatch Fellows will be contributing to critical environmental research projects at the Salto Morato Reserve in Brazil, Dinghushan Nature Reserve in China and Churchill Northern Studies Center in Canada.

In addition to contributing to the knowledge needed to build a sustainable future, this hands-on support for scientific fieldwork provides Fellows with a rich understanding of global environmental challenges and how individual daily behaviors, both at work and at home, can contribute to a more sustainable future.

This year’s Alcoa Earthwatch Fellows will set out for three expeditions:

Brazil: August 12-18
China: August 26-September 1
Canada: September 16-22

I hope to be in Curitiba saturday night,sleeping at Ibis Curitiba Batel.See you on sunday.
