We were recently delighted to participate in two important London conference events organised by Govtoday.
On September 10th we exhibited at the Greening Government 2013 Conference and Exhibition: Delivering change, promoting excellence - the fifth annual national conference examining the progress by Central Government in promoting and achieving measures that incorporate sustainable development to deliver a 34 per cent reduction in emissions by 2020, and 80 per cent by 2050.
The event also included a masterclass, featuring a presentation by Rosa Garcia Pineiro, Regional Affairs & Sustainability Director, Alcoa Europe.
Entitled "Aluminium Facade Systems' Contribution to Zero Carbon Buildings" Rosa's presentation focused on how global megatrends in building and construction are pushing aluminium demand, plus the characteristics and intrinsic properties of aluminium and their contribution to solving sustainability challenges.

A day later we exhibited at the second National NHS Sustainable Development conference and exhibition – Defining the Priorities
Defining the Priorities examined how funding has been used and the direction that the NHS must take in the fight against rising CO2 emissions, whilst showcasing the work already being carried out by NHS organisations not only from up and down the UK but from Europe.
