Less than one year ago, Chris Ayers, a former senior executive at Precision Cast Parts (PCC), joined Alcoa as a chief operating officer of the Engineered Products and Solutions (EPS) business. As COO, he oversees Alcoa Forgings and Extrusions as well as Alcoa Howmet, which produces aluminum, titanium and superalloy castings. As a former PCC leader, Chris brings a unique perspective to Alcoa. During the Farnborough Air Show, Chris discussed the Alcoa technology advantage with Dan Goodman, Alcoa’s aerospace marketing director.
