Alcoa/NRC Recycling Bins in Texas

This year Alcoa Recycling teamed up with the National Recycling Coalition (NRC) to distribute thousands of recycling bins to recycling affiliates in about 20 U.S. states.  Each representative from the participating states has been responsible for coordinating the internal distribution to various groups within their respective communities. 

Under this program, about 25,000 recycling bins have been distributed to different locations in 2009, including the City of New Braunfels in Texas.  Pictured here is Oompie, mascot for the City of New Braunfels, with the 22 gallon Alcoa/NRC green recycling bins.  Thanks Oompie!
