A growing number of small towns across America are implementing curbside recycling programs. The city of Sandersville, Georgia is one of the latest.
Residents in Sandersville, Georgia can now recycle aluminum cans, newspapers and other items at their curbside as part of a new citywide curbside recycling program for residents and businesses that started in March.
Alcoa donated 1,000 recycling bins to Sandersville to help launch a pilot recycling program last year. That successful effort led Sandersville to create a full-scale, sustainable curbside recycling program.
