For the last two days, one of the juvenile ospreys has stood guard on the bridge. We cross this bridge to reach the powerhouse. She sits about 25 feet up and inspects us as we walk under her, as if deciding to let us pass or not. I do make sure I don't walk directly under her though - just in case! I'm not sure if she is one of ours or from a neighboring nest. Either way, it is wonderful to have such a beautiful animal greet us daily.
